Approaching Sustainable Development Through ESG Governance and Commitments
Labor Practices
At Senvion, we are firmly committed to human rights and equality. We uphold and protect internationally recognised human rights, strictly prohibiting child labour, forced labour, and any form of coercion within our operations. To ensure this commitment, we:
- Conduct due diligence across our value chain to identify and prevent human rights violations.
- Offer grievance mechanisms, investigate allegations, and escalate cases of human rights abuse to senior leadership.
- Embed human rights training and accountability throughout our organisation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address common challenges and advance human rights practices.
- We operate ethically and legally in every country where we do business.
- Our corporate strategies, practices, guidelines, and supplier requirements are all aligned with our commitment to human rights. We are proud to report no instances of child labour or forced labour at our facilities. Any concerns regarding potential human rights violations can be reported to our management, who will take prompt corrective action. Our mission is to ensure safe working conditions, respect for workers, environmentally responsible operations, and ethical business conduct.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Senvion, diversity and inclusivity are integral to our success. We are dedicated to equal employment opportunities and the prohibition of discrimination, harassment, and any inappropriate behaviour in the workplace. Our policy and Code of Conduct ensure a work environment free from discrimination or harassment based on various factors, such as race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and more. Our business activities and benefit plans comply with all relevant laws, including reasonable accommodations for qualified employees with disabilities.
Diversity and inclusion form the foundation of our company, fostering collaboration and the adoption of best practices across markets. We raise awareness of inclusion through various methods, including Code of Conduct training, with a goal of 100 percent completion. Furthermore, we aim to have 30 percent women in our workforce, line management, and executive roles by 2030.
Health, Safety and Well-being
Senvion provides a safe and healthy work environment for everyone associated with us. We believe all work-related injuries and illnesses can be prevented. Our commitment goes beyond compliance with legal standards and customer requirements; we aim to maintain a zero-injury rate and a workplace free from accidents or injuries. In the event of a work-related incident, we conduct thorough investigations, analyse root causes, develop corrective action plans, and track progress to resolution.
We also maintain confidential processes for managing findings from occupational health surveys and provide support to employees, including fitness-to-work exams if needed.
Training and Development
Senvion prioritises the development and well-being of its workforce. We create a people-focused experience that enables employees to reach their full potential, thus creating long-term value for our business. As we grow, we focus on upskilling our workforce, ensuring that our capabilities align with our strategic goals. We prioritise executive leadership development, promoting best practices, external insights, and strategic alignment.
Our new-hire training includes a range of required courses on the code of conduct, information security, privacy basics, and anti-harassment. Additionally, we provide culture and company history training to introduce new employees to our operations and values.
